Disney Visa perks?

I just signed up for this card today. Spend $500 in three months, get $200 card. Free money! Not going to be able to get the card by my trip but what a great incentive for ANOTHER trip :)

Are the character meet and greets worth it?

I was at Disneyland last week, and used my Disney Visa to save 20% off the Cultivating the Magic tour at Disneyland Park. I was solo and wasn't interested in a photo with characters. I also didn't spend $50 on merchandise or eat at the restaurants that offered a 10% discount.

Not the best perks ever but I will use it for the discover the magic tour and doing the photos with the kiddos on the days we are in DCA.

I also got the 200 giftcard offer so I'm using the credit card to buy our tickets and pay off right away. Our trip is not until December so we have plenty of time to get that free $$ in our hands. :)

The signup incentives vary quite a bit, $200 is very good :thumbsup2
It's worth searching online for the best current incentives
The "regular" Disney Visa has no annual fee, so there is little downside.
The Premier Disney Visa has a $49 annual fee, so it must be used quite a bit to make it worthwhile.

When I signed up it was with the $200 gift card but it actually ended up being a $200 credit on my bill.

200 credit works too since I plan to put our disney tickets on the card. As long as the money works out in our favor for our vacation then it works for me. :)

The meet and greet is nice. It switches between Minnie and Stitch every 30 minutes. You can't meet Stitch anywhere else, so if you like him that's even better. You also get a free photo from the MG. They changed the times after the re-worked DCA. We also got a $200 gift card when we signed up a few years ago. We've since gotten several Disney gift cards with our points. We usually use the money on food at the parks.

The M&G is from 10:30-1:30 and you get a voucher for a free photo from that shoot redeemed in DCA that day only. It starts with Minnie and rotates to a Stitch then back, every half hour, so you can plan based on who you want to meet.

All the same benefits can be had with the disney visa debit card, if you already bank at chase just request a disney debit card next time you are in and that's all there is to it! If you have both a credit and debit (or two credit cards, different accounts) you can get multiple photo vouchers...just be sure to ask the photographer to take a few extra pictures/poses so you don't end up with all identical pics!

At least in the past Stitch has been at the Surfs Up Breakfast at PPH. Is that not the case anymore?

Stitch has been seen lately surfing the rip tides made by the ships on the Rivers of America. When not busy doing that, he will pose for pictures on said river on his boogie board while waving, winking and or smiling.
Normally afterwards, he will then have a nice lunch upon the shore. It's a tasty menu indeed too; gumbo, surf and turf, and for dessert a tigger tail. But don't worry, Tigger is fine, just the dessert is named after him. Oh and also, Stitch loves a good mint julep while dining al fresco.

He's still there. Saw him trying to escape thru a closed window yesterday morning banging trying to get passerbys on the street to help him lol

My son was too scared to meet him yesterday so we waited for Minnie today at the meet and greet. It's so nice it's private because my son doesn't do well in a line of people.
