Disney Visa...infuriating

Glad I read this! I am planning on doing the SAME thing.
I do carry a balance on Disney card, was going to take saved vacation money and pay on CC. Making my available credit enough to charge/pay for trip.
My CC balance would be the same..BUT the new balance would have 0% interest on the amount I charge for the trip and also would get reward points.
I called customer service to understand and make sure I get 0% when purchasing a trip. She suggested to notify them ahead of time but are aware of big charges for a Disney trip.
Sound like OP waited weeks between paying and then charging. I guess if this will work I will have to do this right away! Don't give them a chance to drop my line!!

I don't think you have to worry. It's rare for these type of occasion to the OP. It's not that it's uncommon, but if you are consistent with your credit card, i wouldn't stress that much.

I have multiple chase cards, including Disney Visa, and have charged in the upwards of $5000 on each card at one time or another. I even charged a $10,000 for a car to get the points. I always pay the balance in full. Given the rewards benefit, I estimate that chase loses about $4000.00 on me each year. Every three months, my credit limit goes up not down. Chase is my primary bank so maybe that has some bearing on credit card line increases. I remember seeing a post a couple of years back were a man owned a small business and would charge on average $15000.00 a month and pay it off in full every month. His credit line never decreased. This was also when the 5% bonus was in effect so he really cleaned up.
