Disney visa free dining

just saw update on home page about free dining for Disney visa cardholders. i am helping some good friends plan their first trip and was wondering if they applied for the card now could they take advantage of the free dining offer. where can i get info on this? i didnt know if they would have time to get the card before they would have to make reservations. they want to go the second week of oct.

Currently they do not have to be a visa card holder to get the free dining, for most dates its still open to the general public but only booked thru 7/26.

They would need to be approved and have the card # in order to book the free dining promotion. If they applied now it would prob take a minimu of 7-10 days to get card.

BUT as a general rule if Disney Visa is offering free dining, it will be opened to general public soon.

Disney card free dining is now thru december
