Disney Visa Disney Dollars with AAA

I was told that I can't use my Disney Dollars from my Disney Visa card to pay for my Disney World Vacation with AAA. Is this true? I have currently booked a CR standard view room with the Dining Plan next May. Can anyone in this forum help me?

I would guess that AAA doesn't accept Disney Dollars as payment since you're not paying Disney directly, you're paying AAA. If you booked through Disney you should be able to pay with Disney Dollars. You can still use the Dollars for food and/or souvenirs while in the park.

If I booked through AAA, I could save about $300 but they won't take the Disney dollars. Is it possible to book the hotel and meal plan through AAA and buy the tickets separately using Disney Dollars.

I booked my trip thru AAA in 2006 and used my visa disney points I had accumulated with no problem. They called Disney and then I paid AAA the balance. Hopefully, the policy is the same, because I have booked my June 2008 thru AAA and plan to use my Visa disney points

If you mean your Disney Rewards card that you earned with Visa points, yes, you can use this to pay for your trip at AAA. Just give the agent the card number like you would any Visa and tell them how much to put on it.

If you mean actual Disney Dollars - y'know, the currency with Donald et al on it - then no, you can't use that.

I don't know about AAA but I do know you can't buy separately if you want the dining plan. The dining plan is only available as part of a package. What you can do is buy a package with a one day ticket, and then upgrade your tickets at Disney using your Disney Dollars.
