Is the Disney Visa offering DCL discounts for cruises in October? I don't see anything about it.

No discounts, just an onboard credit in the amount of $50.

The catch is that the entire cruise must be booked and paid for using the Disney VISA. There is also a code to use when booking the vacation. It cannot be applied to current bookings.

Check your Spring 2004 newletter (page 4) or your online account for the details. It's under "Other Vacations" in the "Current Offers".

Can the onboard credit be used to pay off the cruise or does it have to be used 'onboard?'

AFAIK it needs to be used onboard. But you'll likely spend $50 onboard. All meals are included, but if you want alcohol or pop outside the dining rooms, purchase pictures, take excursions or buy anything in the shop, there will be an onboard charge. We spent a little under $700 for four days ($85 in pictures and about $300 of it shopping - including a nice watch, plus another $150 on excursions, the rest was alcohol)
