I had printed out the benefits last time we traveled to WDW, but don't have it anymore. Periodically they enclose something with your bill and you can also pull it up online. I do remember that there was a special character meet and greet with a free photo at Epcot. This is during a few hours in the afternoon. It looked pretty nice, but we didn't want to wait on line for it - each family gets to go in alone to meet the characters and get a picture. The other benefit I think I remember is 10% off your purchase at the big Disney Store (forget what it's called) in Donwtown Disney.
Actually, I believe those are benefits for all Disney Visa holders, not just charter members. I'm a charter member too, and I'm not aware of any special benefits associated with it.

A charter member is someone who's had the card since it was introduced, which I believe was in early '03. Mine says "CARDMEMBER SINCE DAY 1" (otherwise it would give the month and year that the person became a cardmember) and "CHARTER CARDMEMBER" imprinted below my name.
I just got a renewal card a couple of months ago. It seems that they discontinued the "Day 1" and now have the actual year (2003) on the card. It still has the "Charter Cardmember" under my name. And, no, there doesn't appear to be any benefit in being a Charter Cardmember.
