Disney Visa Card - Referral Timeline

I just had two friends who plan to go do Disney next year use my referral email to sign up for Disney Visas. They were both approved and got their cards last week.

Do you know about how long it takes to get the referral bonus? Is it so many days/weeks once they hit the $500 requirement? Is it after they pay it off? Is it once they sign up?

At least 8 weeks after they make their first charge and then the next billing cycle thereafter. At least that's what they told me.

But if it's like what happened to me, you're going to have to bug them after that time passes and then give them information about the two people you referred that were approved (name, address, and telephone number)

Thanks for sharing. I did have one ref feral about 4 months ago and chalked it up to they didn't meet the requirements on time, but now thinking they forgot. Maybe it is worth a call.

I called and sure enough I had a referral from July and I know they got their giftcard Mid August. She claims she added it to my account and will come through on my next billing cycle which ends tomorrow. These new ones will not make it in time for my next trip, but I appreciate you sharing your experience.

Glad I could help. fortunately, I knew the people I had referred and they had told me when they got their card so it wasn't difficult to get their information to get the credit applied (well the reward dollars)

Yes, I knew my referral people as well and had her information, but they would just say I see it pending for your next billing cycle. Time will tell as my statement should post tomorrow.

I ended up emailing them with all the information and they gave me the credit within a few days.
