I don't have a Disney Visa card yet and I am considering getting one so I can take advantage of the perks (Disney Meet N' Greet, free stroller rental, etc.)

I know that they periodically have special offers if you apply. Anyone know of any good ones floating around out there right now?

Thanks!

I pretty much only use the meet 'n greet and I used to do the strollers. I have an AP so the discount on the food is pretty much the same.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for all this great info!

I think perhaps my original post was unclear - I was actually wondering about offers that Chase Visa gives you when you sign up for the Visa card.

Sometimes they will offer, say, a $25 gift card or something if you sign up.

I haven't seen any good offers lately, but thought that maybe someone else out there had?

Thanks.

Hey there! We kept getting offers that said, 0% APR Disney vacation financing for six months. It also said you get a 40 dollar gift card after your first purchase. Just google chase disney visa and you should find the online application! Hope this helps! :)

In the back of the Birnbaum Disneyland Resort Guide there was an offer for a $50 Disney gift card for applying for the card. I don't have it in front of me right now, but I was thinking about signing up for the card as well.

It's a good idea to check for offers. I received a $40 Disney gift card by applying for mine through the AP holder portion of Disneyland.com. Sometimes they have $25 off through DisneyShopping as well.

the 2 biggest ones i see are 6 months on a trip and a year on everything else.

and the 0% transfer is nice it won't get you rewards but if you can transfer another card over and pay it all off it could save some bucks.

free strollers??? Is the stroller rental free at the parks with a disney visa?? I have been taking my 2 year old niece and just broke done and bought a small stroller (hers is too bulky):confused3 :confused3

yep you can get 2 free rentals per day. till now we always brought our own but this trip our kids will be 4 4 and 10 so we may or may not need them but its nice to know we don't have to pay for them.

They have a "refer a friend" program, in which you get a $25 gift card and the "friend" (I'd volunteer ;) ) gets $25 in reward points.

I believe they are also currently offering a $40 credit to your first bill when you apply through disneyland.com, although I'm not sure of the terms of that offer (such as booking a vacation, or not).

Just a couple of ideas!

If you don't find any other (better) offers... I'd volunteer to be your 'refer-a-friend' too :thumbsup2

I got one through the disneyland site and you get $40 credited to you after your first purchase of .01 or more, it doesn't have to be on just disney things...it is for any purchase. (at least that's what they told me) Not bad!

Try this site for the Disney Visa:http://disneyrewards.disney.go.com/index.html

$50 code in back of Birnbaum's book says call 1.888.232.7966 or visit disneyland50offer.com and mention key code 6g4l03 This is the one we used!

Another deal is this...if you DON'T have the card when you go to the parks, in DTD there is a cart and they offer a free Mickey backpack tote or a free Mickey blanket (the stadium sort) for applying. We did it and got the tote right then and there (it was great to use to bring our souvenirs home in) and we got our card in the mail last week. We decided we didn't want to keep it so we called and cancelled it right away.

We asked the gal at the kiosk if we could cancel it right away and she said yes so we did.

So, if you are interested in some free gear but don't really want the card (I'm not sure if the other gift card deals are "cancel any time" things or if you have to keep the card for X amount of time before they give you your free gift card), that is one way to do it.

What's the "Meet 'N Greet"?

We have Disney Visa and I'm not familiar with this.

This is an exclusive event for Disney Visa Card holders only. It's at DCA. You'll get a coupon for a free 5x7 which you have to pick up at DCA but does not have to be one taken at the Meet 'n Greet. Recently I have used the coupons for one taken with hitchhiking ghosts, DD8 fighting Capt. Hook, Stitch coming out of ground at DCA, our family at DL entrance, and a few from the meet 'n greet. The current coupons (just got 2-we have 2 accts.) expire Dec. 31, 2010. The previous ones (from last week) are good until Sept. of this year.

Check out this thread I started yesterday regarding new expiration date. I posted a few pix as well. :goodvibes

The also do this at Epcot in WDW. It's in the afternoons though, not in the a.m.
