Beginning today, Disney VISA cardholders can book a buy-4-get-3-free package for select dates between 11/1 - 12/24/2009 through 1/3 - 3/27/2010 at Moderate and Deluxe Resorts.

Guests staying at Value Resorts can book a similar 5/2 deal for the same dates.

That probably means that a 4/3 or 5/2 deal is just around the corner for the general public!

Its not even as good of a deal as it waslast year. Atleast for some of the promo last year they threw in a gift card. I for one am not very impressed with this deal. We plan to go over spring break and we are better off just hoping for a room discount. Kinda stinks.

Can you explain what this means to me?

So I have to buy 4 nights & get 3 free plus my package has to include tix too? Is it rack rate for the 4 nights and is it a 7 day ticket at reg price? Sorry I'm new to this.

It's rack rate for the 4 nights. You pay for 4-day MYW tickets and get 3 free days, so you get a 7-day MYW ticket for the price of a 4-day pass.

The room discount for the moderates and deluxes comes out to about 43%, which is a nice discount. The value resort discount is about 28%...not quite as good as other discounts have been but still not bad.

The ticket discount comes out to about $10 per pass.

The real shocker is that the 2009 discount window goes thru Christmas Eve!!!! Disney rarely discounts the week prior to or the week following Christmas!

We are staying at WL from Nov 30-Dec 9th. we already have free dining. Do you think this option would be a better price. Anything to save money right about now.

It depends. You are staying 10 nights? Two adults $40 per night for free dining for a ten nights (rounding up here) is a savings of $800. Compare that to rack rate for the resort you are staying at times 3 nights and also add $10 per person for 3 days in ticket savings ($60 in ticket savings for 2 people).

For anyone at a value, the savings are less....Two nights at rack rate for the value and two days in ticket savings.

Keeping my fingers crossed for an awesome deal like this for end of April 2010

I am on with disney right now and they can't even find the code and I didn't see it on the chase.com/disney page.

I just called and confirmed that the black-out dates do not apply if your check-in within the promotion period. We're arriving in Orlando on 12/19 and staying at AKV right now. The promo was valid at POR for 12/19 - 12/26 at $1755 for 3 "adults". It came out to something like $120 per night for a moderate resort room over Christmas! Wow! What a great deal. It's almost good enough for me to consider giving up my AKV reservation and saving my DVC points. So, I think that one can get the discount as long as they check-in by 12/24 :).

just called Disney and added the code for my ressie 3/19-3/27-2010, at Pop it saved my $339, I am excited. :cool1:

Our Current Promotion is better :( I was hoping to save more money lol.
Current promotion is the military special btw

saved $220 of our 1/29-2/7 trip. Was hoping for a little better deal, but I'll take what I can get...maybe something better will be announced before then.

can someone please let me know the code so I can try to call back again and see if this deal would be better for us than free dining.

There are a number of codes based on your length of stay, resort level and whether you're addiing a dining plan. Check the list located on this page:
http://wdwinfo.com/disneypackages.htm#general
Or check Mousesavers for the Disney VISA codes:
http://www.mousesavers.com/packages.html#dv7for4

Note: You must book using a Disney VISA to use these codes right now. The general public will probably be able to book later this week.

We've got a package for Nov 29 - Dec 6 at WL (Standard Room) - booked with a 40% off pin code I received last year. I'm trying to see if this new code would save me any money. A previous poster said it's the equivalent of a 43% discount for deluxes.

If I did call and change, would they have to cancel and rebook me from scratch - or just modify the existing reservation with the new 3 letter code? I'd love to save a bit more, even if its only $100 or so. But I am afraid to "tamper' with the ressies at this late date (final payment due Oct 15). Flights are booked and my parents are coming too...would hate to accidentally lose the ressie in the rebooking process.

Per Mousesavers this deal is now open to the general public, not just Disney Visa cardholders. Folks on the codes board here are also saying they were able to book without a DV card. :thumbsup2

Trouble is the discount ends March 27th.:sad2:

Anyone know when they might announce discounts for late April? :surfweb:

Ugh! I am annoyed right now, LOL! I called about the 4/3 deal and the CM I got was NOT nice. She was all annoyed and said "How did you hear about that, it is not public information yet" I just said through some "friends" :)

Anyway she said I have to do the room plus park tix for everyone to get the deal? Since we are staying off property for 4 nights first this would not make sense for us because I would be paying for a 3 day ticket and then a 4 day (get 3 free) ticket for everyone whhich is MUCH more expensive then a 10 day ticket. Is she right? I thought I could just get the park ticket for one of us connected to my room ressie and still get the deal?

That's interesting, I just booked tonight and the CM added the code on without me even mentioning it. I was prepared to give them the code I found online, but she just did it.
