Disney VISA $200 promo

We receied a Disney VISA promo for $200 worth of reward points this week. Did anyone else jump on this and if so what is your understanding of how and how long will the reward points will be available

I did! Got it in the mail and I applied last week (had to go through the process even though it said I was approved). Haven't heard back yet......

I did this offer. Very simple and easy. I got my credit card maybe 1 -2 weeks after I applied, I believe I got a confirmation email that I was getting the credit card maybe 2-3 days after applying. I used the card once and on my first bill there was 200 reward points available for me. Very simple process, for 200 disney dollars!

Thanks for your replies. We received the offer in the mail after ignoring 2 previous offers. One for $50 another for $100. There was an invitation code on the application that you had to provide when applying. Maybe call Disney Visa or follow the link on Disney's website and ask for the that offer.
Does anyone know if you have to wait for your statement to arrive before you can use the rewards points on your account?

We recently accepted a Chase Visa offer for $200 in Disney rewards. When we applied they said the points would be available when we go to WDW this week. Now they are saying that it wont be available for another 4 to 6 six weeks. Bummer Anyway,my sister and her family will be going in December. Will I be able to give her the Rewards card to use. Will it be a problem?

yes, but you can also use those reward points at The Disney Store and to buy movie tickets or at Disneystore.com They are not just to use on vacation.

Unfortunately, you have to be offered this bonus. There is a unique PIN associated with the offer and it is non-transferrable. I suppose that you could try calling Chase. But since there is already a cardholder in your household, I'm thinking that they may not be jumping at the chance to sign up your DH as well.
