Disney villains in parks?

I'm off to WDW on Monday (waheyyyyy )

Any chance of meet and greets with Disney's villains or should I consider a return Halloween trip for that?

Gaston and Tremaines in MK, not many elsewhere in WDW.

Unfortunately, you don't find many villains around the parks...the usual ones are Gaston, Lady Tremaine & Step sisters and Hook (with Smee sometimes).

DS loves villains and we go to MNSSHP just to see them. He's even disappointed in the new 3:00 parade as there are hardly any villains..in the previous parade towards the end there were a bunch of characters walking which included Jafar, Queen of Hearts, John Longfellow and others.

If you go to Pirate Kenny's website he talks about Characterpalooza in DHS. It's an unscheduled event, but usually during a certain time of day on Streets of America (depending upon Fantasmic schedule) characters just show up for meet and greets...You may get to see a Villain then..it's a shot in the dark. One time during characterpalooza (when it was in Animation building) DS got to see Evil Queen..he was thrilled - we took a picture and he got her autograph.

We are definitely among the list of people who wish there were more Villains to be seen in the parks.

I've seen the Evil Queen from Snow White, the Queen of Hearts and Jaffar during characterpalooza at DHS.

Hook and Smee have not had a scheduled M&G in the parks for years now.

I'm going to go with slim to none. Disney doesn't like to push characters from more mature movies or criss cross the animated ones with the live action ones. It just doesn't fit with the fantasy that the animated characters are all real. Make sense?

There is also some talk about when its live action characters the actresses have some sort of royalty on their faces/images. That's why we never got Enchanted M&G's but that's been years ago now, it may have changed.

Halloween would be your best bet to meet villians! There's a lot more out at those events.
Currently in the parks you'll really only have gaston, the tremaines, and really that's it! There is "character palooza" over at dhs that has some random fantasmic characters out and about during the late afternoon and sometimes you'll catch queen of hearts & evil queen & some others over there

I agree! This would be fabulous!! My 3 year old is obsessed with Maleficent and Queen of Hearts!

From what I've read/heard, 1900 Park Faire used to be a villain meal, but it didn't go well with kids (villains being villains) so it was cut. Unfortunate, I would have loved to go.

Most definitely ! I have seen so much talk of this on the boards. It amazes me that WDW has not done this yet. Imagine how campy it would be to have Malificeint, Evil Queen and Lady Tremaine jockey for number one while at a buffet. I think it would be a HUGE draw.

If you want to find CaptainHook and Smnee, go to the Contemporary dock about 30 minutes before wishes. They used to lead people to the Wishes cruises.

I too would LOVE a villains character meal! I treasure my slightly blurry photo of me as Snow White with my apple and the Evil Queen (taken at MNSSHP after castle show)

While anyone can go to the dock, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee will be in attendance with the paying guests for the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage. I would suggest if anyone wants a guarantee to interact with them, schedule the voyage.

We hit two Characterpaloozas last week at DHS. Jafar was at both (with all of the Aladdin characters at one, which was cool!), and the Queen of Hearts/Evil Queen were together at one.
