Disney Vet Looking For Universal Help

I am looking on going for a weekend to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure at the end of this month. Are there any ways to get good rates for one of the less expensive on site hotels. I called and the Florida resident rate is $159 but it has to be for 1 or 3 days only and I am looking for 2 days. Can anyone out there help me?

I have seen where others have booked for 3 days then called and canceled one.

I heard that rooms are pretty difficult to come by right now, let alone with a discount.
