Sounds like we'll be alone there on Friday at 7:00. Makes sense for us though as we work in town and can just take the T over afterwards vs. dealing with driving in and parking on a weekend.

I work over near BackBay & it might make sense for me to do as you're doing: work late on Friday (*gulp*) and get home late ... possibly a few K poorer .

I work over near BackBay & it might make sense for me to do as you're doing: work late on Friday (*gulp*) and get home late ... possibly a few K poorer .

Its actually the World Trade Stop on the Silver Line. Or you can walk easily enough from South Station on the red line. I work in Back Bay as well so we'll be doing the same green/red/silver line thing.

Phew! Finally wrangled an invite from my DVC guide! We'll be there Sat. morning. Incidently (and this may be old news, just repeating what my guide said on the phone), the current incentives expire before the event. My guide suggested locking in at the current incentives, if we decide to add on, then seeing what is offered at the event where they can update to the new incentives if they are better. He also speculated that they will not be better ("they usually aren't"). Guess we'll see.

I don't know, but my guess is it will be kind of a combination welcome home wednesday/merry mixer type thing. They'll give us the opportunity to mix and mingle with other members, give us something to eat, and then give us the pitch, and have some oportunities to win prizes.

I'm not looking to add on points, but it's something to do on a Saturday morning, and I'll get to see some friends, and meet other DVC members.

Just added 50 points here so it's not happening again so soon. But it sounds like fun to go to and I'm thinking it will be sort of like the Merry Mixer with some rooms to tour and a sales pitch thrown in. maybe add some Doorway To Dreams stuff in, that I've read about. I would love some free swag but more than anything, I am bringing my mom and BF since neither have ever been to Disney and I am trying to entice them to come with me. I am thinking they will have an AKV room and a BLT room to show off but they may surprise me.

Anyone else have any guesses what they might be offering ??
