Don’t even tell me…
It includes park admission after 4pm AND park reservation. So is this an upcharge that some might consider paying if HS has no park reservations left and they want to go on that date to enjoy EEH?
Trying to figure out the angle here. There’s such a tiny amount of info. Some food in a questionable food location with beer and wine, and some hours in the park. Most DVC visitors will already have multiday tickets or APs.
Bingo. So while substantially raising prices across the board, they also keep taking away bits of what it included to sell again separately. Sure they have the right to do as they please, and it was tolerable in the beginning stages, but they just keep adding more and more of these things that chip away at other guests’ experiences.Wouldn't it be awkward if someone questioned how they can not have any park reservations available but have extra spaces for an upcharge party?

But if they don’t have hoppers or APs and don’t want DHS to be their reserved park that day, this gets them in.I think it would be better to say park admission not included and drop the fee to under $100, most if not all DVC have some sort of ticket anyway.
Agreed! Now that I might consider lol
Yes it does. But what is so special about these dates that they’d pay $160+tax each to be let in? Those are the nights that have rare HS EEH… which is supposed to be perk for deluxe. And Blue Card is supposed to be a perk for those paying extra for direct DVC.But if they don’t have hoppers or APs and don’t want DHS to be their reserved park that day, this gets them in.

So… WDW’s selling the opportunity to access perks? And why might people have a hard time getting into HS? Park Reservations system. They don’t find out HS is having EEH until it’s too late and no reservations are left, so then this looks more appealing. I dunno, this just seems very manipulative and double dipping into people’s pockets. They are selling the ability to get into a ‘sold out’ park. Wrong on too many levels. This is exactly the kind of crap everybody hoped Chapek would take with him on the way out.
But it would only include one night of hopping? And the joy that is Pizzerizzo.Since these people can’t get in until 4 pm, they may be viewing it as park hoppers, which you wouldn’t need a reservation for?

Why not? Is there a specific clause in your AP “contract”? Is it the right thing to do from a public opinion lens? No. But they have every right to do it if they so choose.Actually when it comes to annual passes, they don't have the right to do stuff like this while also blocking out ap!
What I don’t appreciate about this is all the guests who booked deluxe stays, bought their multiday tickets and made their park reservations only to find later that HS is holding 2 rare EEH’s at HS which they’re seemingly entitled to except for the fact that park reservations are artificially gone. Oh but there’s an answer for that. Another $160 each to get in.Yes but I meant for them allowing people to book without needing a park reservation at an already sold out park…assuming HS is sold out that day.
I think it’s an expensive event but for someone who didn’t already plan park that day, it could be a consideration.
