Disney Vacation Account Can you add funds to room account ahead of time?

I have been adding funds to my DVA to condense the gift cards. I did this prior to the new Disney gift card site. I also never read, until today, that you can only put $1000 every 90 days onto a gift card. I currently have more than $1000 in my account.

Has anyone had any luck adding funds to room account either prior or at the resort from your DVA?

Is it possible to refund a gift card that I used to add funds, if I know which gift card it is?

No, DVA cannot be used for room charges, period.

No, you cannot use the DVA to fund a resort "credit". It would be nice to be able to do that, but it's not an option.

You can request a GC refund and have it returned to the original GC or you can tell them that you no longer have the GC and they will issue a new one.

Don't expect it to be handled with any sort of speed or efficiency. The DVA customer service is only slightly better than their IT department.
