I am getting married in WDW in May

We are having an 'at home' reception for all our friends and family when we return and are incorporating some Disney elements. One thing we are putting together is Disney trivia cards for guests. The majority of guests have never been to WDW and we want them to see why we chose to go there for our wedding and honeymoon!

I have found lots of facts online but am worried some people will be turned off by stats so I am trying to find interesting things and this is where I would really appreciate some help! Please let me know if you can think of anything which surprised / amazed you as a first time visitor or anything that you just think is interesting. Many thanks

Great idea & Congratulations; try this book by Susan Veness, The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World: Over 600 Secrets of the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom (Paperback).

More than 500,000 character watches (mostly Mickey) are sold in the WDW gift shops each year.

Congratulations!
You could point out some of the more interesting Hidden Mickeys. I remember there being one on Walt's ring in the Partners' Statue.

There's also a "Hidden Ariel" in the Peter Pan ride - she's sat on the rock with the other mermaids.
