Disney Trip Surprise Video

Thought this would be fun to share. This was a video that my wife shot when we surprised our kids with a trip to WDW. We did Geocaches during the summer that I preset up and had a "private" clues for so other people wouldn't search for them. Each GeoCache had a Disney toy and a clue to the next one. The final clue sent us to the airport. We told the kids they had a Doctors appt so we picked them up from school to take them to the Dr. office. Of course these darn doctors cancelled the appt. I gave the kids the option of either going back to school or we could do the last GeoCache. Of course they wanted to do the last GeoCache The GPS coordinates took us to the airport. (Of course, My wife and I had already been at the airport and checked in our luggage and got our tickets). We put the Airplane and WDW Park tickets in the GeoCache envelope with a letter from Micky Mouse. The video will show you the rest. Hope you enjoy! This was our first trip to WDW in about 3 years.

That was adorable. It made me cry a bit. I hope you had a great trip! Your daughters are so sweet, the way they were crying and hugging you. There are posts on the internet of surprise Disney trip videos that went south where the kids were actually upset and didn't want to go (in some cases, too young to understand why it was a big deal to mom and dad!). But your family looks so nice and seemed so appreciative and cooperative. Great job and thanks for sharing!

I surprised my mom for Mother's Day 2012 with a trip to WDW that I've yet to be able to make good on because of health issues (mine not hers). But we have our tickets and are planning to go January '14!!!! 221 days left!

hehe I know - When I listened back to it, I noticed that maybe I could have said 9 days a few more times.

Trip was great, temperatures were AWESOME - Mid 70's most of the week and low crowds.
