Hi fellow Aussie DISer

I am writing a trip report on my recent trip to Tokyo Disney, Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld and Discovery Cove and Disneyland Resort. In a shameless effort to plug my trip report I'm posting a link here

Hope you enjoy

I've gone through about half of it so far and wow - what a dream trip! I always joke about doing an around the world Disney trip, looks like you've covered half of it! Japan is definitely on the list for me, I enjoyed your photos but did you think it had the same Disney 'feel' as the American parks? I can't believe how busy some of the streets were in your Japan photos, reminded me of Hong Kong of a night - I use to peer out the window of my hotel thinking - ain't going out there, I'd need a big stick to get anywhere :rotfl:

Great trip report, fantastic photos, I'm enjoying every bit of it!

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much for reading! It truly was a dream trip and we had such fun. Yes Tokyo Disney has a different feel from the US parks .. It's more noticeable at Disney Sea as Tokyo Disneyland is in parts much like other Disneyland. I actually talk about the difference in the feeling of Disney Sea in one of the posts.. It's strangely not as Disneyish but still magnificent, beautiful and I can see why people laud it as the most beautiful park in the world! Japan is also just a lot more structure oriented so there's a lot more of that in the way the parks are run and the staff deal with ppl but they are always polite patient and super helpful! All in all its an amazing place to visit. Yeh the busyness was one part I could have done without but that's just Japan in general .. The crowds we encountered at a middling busyness period were almost as bad as Disneyland at thanksgiving though with a smart plan is totally doable...Though a big stick could have been useful!
