Day 2:
Got up early. It was early entry day for MGM. We went and rode R&R a couple times before it got lined up to much. Then went and did Muppets, Star Tours and Millionaire. No luck today at Millionaire, but DS was high score as we left the game. He couldnt get in the hot seat anyway now, because he is a CM. But he did like finishing at the top. My luck was not as good, but would change later in the week...more to come on that..
After lunch, we went back to the WL, picked up the car and drove over to Property Control. This is a shopping place for CM's. Lots of left over junk and clothing articles. Picked up a mug and salt/pepper set for half the price in the parks. Lots of broken stuff there. It reminded me of a graveyard of broken toys and unwanted t-shirts...lol... Some things were almost new, but would have something broken on them. For example, I saw some nice character picture frames with the nose broken off of Minnie. So I guess someone could repair them with a little super glue. Most of the stuff was in a big tent, but they are moving into a bigger building soon. So any Disney Store CM's can go as well. Security will be checking for ID's.
After that we went to Downtown Disney. DS and DW wanted to got to Virgin Records. I stopped by Wolfgang Puck's and got a creme brulee. It was a trio of chocolate, vanillia, and butterscotch. We were not overly impressed, I would rate it about 7 out of 10. But I did like the bar.
Day 3
Went to Epcot early. Did Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Figment, The Land.
Had lunch at LeCelliar. It was excellent. Service was great, but the food was so good. My DS had steak tips, DW had open faced steak sandwich and I had the burger. It was very very good. We havent eat there since it changed from the old caferteria style. But we will go back on a regular basis now....We highly recommend it.. Plus we got a 20% CM discount on the bill...which made it better..
Went back to the pool at WL for the afternoon. Then went back to Epcot to check on Mission Space, but no luck. I figured since it was Sunday, that the regular workers and engineers were probably off. We found it worked best during regular week days.
Rode SpaceShip Earth instead...a nice relaxing, cool ride...
Got back to WL around 8 and had the nice dessert at the concierge...I am feeling so lucky to get that service..it just made the whole vacation special..
