Jokes on you - it was actually a bunch of Disney vloggers on that boat, trolling to be rescued. I wouldn't put it past them!

On the Dream May 2024 eastbound TA, also east of Bermuda, the bridge crew saw "something" in the water. The ship turned 180 degrees and sailed back to the spot where the object was noticed. It was around 11 pm so it was very dark - but the seas were fairly calm. The Dream approached within 100 to 200 yards looking for any sign of life or distress. Seeing none, it was reported to Bermuda and the Dream continued its original course to Europe. It was later determined that the floating shipwreck was a private catamaran that floundered off the coast of North Carolina in 2023.

When the survivors return to shore I hope they'll be interviewed and tell us the details -- the pre-maiden voyages often have carpenters putting on the finishing touches. How many crew members were there, and how was the food? I doubt it was the gourmet cuisine served to the regular DCL passengers. Chances are, the entertainment staff is still rehearsing in Orlando. I'm sure it was still an amazing cruise, compared to their sinking catamaran.

Ironically, one of the ads I’m getting now on my phone is to charter a sailboat. Um, no thanks.

Amazing! So glad it had a happy ending. And, minus the traumatizing experience, I'd love to be one of those survivors on board before anyone else, lol.

Because I have problems, I was looking at the tracking the other day, wondering why it made a weird turn near Bermuda...then I saw the news.

I love how vessels on the ocean all jump in to each other. This is a great story and there are so many of these.
