Disney Transportation to WDW From Port Canaveral

If taking DCL transportation on debarkation from Port Canaveral to a Disney Resort what is a reasonable time we could expect to arrive at WDW? We’d like to dump luggage at the resort and go to a park. We’d like to make a lightning lane reservation at breakfast but we wouldn’t want it to be too early and miss our return window.

DCL has always publicized not to book anything before 12:30 in the parks if using the shuttle.

Your bus could leave as soon as 7:30 if your resort is on a very popular route with multiple busses assigned, but it could also only leave around 9 or 9:15, once everyone booked shows up for the only bus that day. They create routes with multiple stops based on bookings and location of the resorts. If your stop is the last one on the route, that might mean you get to the resort around 11 or 11:30.

When we did this on the Dream in 2017, we were at Pop Century by 10:30 a.m. and on our way to the parks shortly thereafter. We basically dropped our luggage at bell services and hopped on a bus to MK.
