Disney Transportation to the Port (Port Canaveral)

We've always driven, however, we are considering staying on property at WDW before and after our cruise. Does Disney offer free transportation to the port (like they do from the airport to their properties) and can you leave your car in your Disney hotel parking lot while you are on the cruise?

No, unlike the Magical Express (free shuttle from/to MCO and WDW resorts), DCL transfers cost $35.00 per person each way - WDW/port; port/WDW; port/MCO.

You can contact your specific resort and see if they will allow you to leave your car. Most of the time the answer is yes, sometimes not.

BUT, you will be paying for the transfers vs paying for parking at the port. You'll have to work out which is a better cost for you.

And, the buses from the resorts pick up once from each resort sometime in the 10:45-12:30 window, arriving at the port about an hour to an hour and half later.

We just finished a cruise on the Fantasy with a night at Poly before the cruise and a night at AKL after. We used DME to get between MCO and the resorts and Disney cruise transfers to get between the resorts and Port Canaveral.

The above poster is correct about the cost ($35 pp/each way).

For us, the bus arrived at the Poly at around 11 am, then stopped at the Contemporary (we arrived at the port around 12:45 pm).

At the end of the cruise, the WDW resort buses leave the port around 9 am. We arrived at AKL around 10:30 am (we were the first stop).
