Hi~

My family and I are booked on our first ever Disney Cruise and plan on 5 nights at the French Quarter after the cruise. Can we book Disney transfers from the port to the resort?
If so, are the buses there ready to load when we disembark or do we have to wait around?
We're booked through Dreams Unlimited do I have my agent book the transfers?
Thank you so much for your help. I have no idea how this cruise stuff works!!

Yes you can book these they run on a rolling service so as one fills it goes and the next is available to board. You add by contacting your travel agent.

You will not have to wait to long, alternatives they can be booked on the ship, and Aldo from the cruise booklet sent around 45 days.

Some routes may share destinations so it may drop off at up to three resorts.

Thank you Disney Fantasy very much for your help!!
We've been to Disney World every year for the last 25 years always staying on property but we have no cruise experience whatsoever.
I'm learning more and more each day!! :thumbsup2

I'll add that when we've done DCL transfers we were able to get to our resort, get checked in and take WDW transportation to MK by 11:30, those trips we were staying at; 2011 - Pop Century and 2013 - Polynesian.

Thanks so much Fantasy for the great picture!! Now I understand how really close the buses are. A picture really is worth a thousand words.

What is the latest I can add the transfers to our reservations? We don't sail until May 16th but I want to make sure I don't miss the deadline.

Thanks!!

Anytime.

Now embarkation ones its best upto a week before, not less than three days.
A form is in the cruise documents which is sent to you around 45 days pre cruise.

Disembarkation, again as above but additionally can be added on the ship at any time.

You can add post-cruise transfers even while on the cruise, and they'll charge your stateroom account. I believe I've read you can even walk up to the desk at the airport to request pre-cruise transfers, but I wouldn't want to wait that long. If you add transfers prior to PIF, the cost will be added to your balance due; if you are past PIF, you'll be charged at the time you add the transfers.

Enjoy your cruise!
