Disney Transfers for Part of stateroom only?

I’m thinking about booking a Disney transfer from WDW to Port Canaveral for just myself and my kids and having my husband drive separately because he will have to work and not join us the first night at WDW. Will both of us get early port arrival times or just me and the kids?
