We have no choice but to fly in the day of the cruise for our September cruise so we are using Disney transport from airport to port. We land at 10:55 so will we do check-in at the port or the airport.

You will check in for the cruise at the Welcome Center at MCO--lower level, terminal B. You will get off the plane and go there--no need to claim luggage. You will check in and be placed on the next bus to the port complete with boarding card. When you arrive at the port, you will be able to walk right onto the ship or at most have a very few minutes of delay.

Thank you! I am already nervous about flying same day as we do not normally do that. We are taking first flight so should be good.

If it is not a participating airline we would need to get our own luggage though right? We are on SW.

The concept of "participating airline" applies only to the return flight. DCL will claim your bags for you on the way in--no need to get your own luggage.

We do SW all the time--THEY get the bags for you. Just put the cruise tags on them while still at your home.
