On another thread someone asked how to get from the Poly to Hoop De Doo Review with their two children who are both in wheelchairs. I thought I would come to the FW experts and find out how this can be done! Thanks for your help.
I think I answered this on the other thread, but if I forgot here goes...
From the Poly take the monorail to MK
from MK take the WL/FW boat to FW...short walk from FW dock to HDDR
If for some reason the boats and docks make getting the wheelchairs on the boat difficult, they will have to take a WL bus from MK and transfer to a FW bus at WL, again only a short walk from the bus to HDDR once you are at FW. FW does not have a bus direct to MK.
My husband is in a wheelchair and we took the launch from MK once, and took the bus from the TTC the other time. Both were fine. Actually I think the launch was quicker. Going back in Oct. and can't wait!

It is my understanding that the bus to the TTC is not a regular thing, it was for a while when the MK bus stops were being renovated but does not run now. It was not running in March when I was there.

If there is any problem that makes the boats not accessible to wheelchairs and ECVs, they run buses. You will know if that happens because there would be signs at entrance to the boat dock that says it is not accessible.
