Disney to Serve 4,000 lbs. of Lobster in 45 Days !

Wow..that's a lot...wish I could be there

We will be there, but probably won't be doing lobster. We get our fair share of it at home.

I wish I could say that. About the only thing a Tennessean could possibly say that about is barbeque, but it's just nowhere near the same thing. :sad2:

You mean the $8 lobster roll? :rotfl2:

he he...

Now, let's see: If each $8 lobster roll contains a generous 2.7 oz of lobster meat, how many would they have to sell in 45 days to reach the 4,000 lbs mark ?

This is dependant on if the red monorail leaves the TTC at 8:30 AM at an average speed of 35 miles MPH, while the gold monorail leaves the GF at 8:45 AM with a ten minute layover in front of the MK, assuming fair weather and headwinds at no more that 3 MPH

This is not even factoring in the speed with which each roll is assembled, combined with the efficiency of the assembled crowd, and the availability of accpetable seating versus the varible of the undesirable 'eating of the top of a garbage can' tangent.

I'll have this figured out by noon.

;)

Well, yeah, Jeff. I figured you wouldn't want lobster. I hear they roam freely on the streets in your area. :rotfl2:

That would be the equivalent of me skipping a Chicago food kiosk that served Italian Beef, deep dish pizza, and Chicago hot dogs. ;)

But if I were coming to the festival this year, I might get some 'cuddlers'. But I'm not, so I won't. :charac2:

If you guys keep talking about lobster, you're gonna have to send me a Lobstergram or something. That thing about never buying seafood in a landlocked state? They mean it. I have no good source for seafood here, and you're KILLING me, LOL! Bug is hungry for pink tinged foods...Bug will never get her pink like a flamingo.

I love the Food and Wine. I can't wait until we get there. Good Food and Drink, what more can a foodie ask for!

One of these years I really want to go to Food and Wine, as soon as I convince my husband!! :goodvibes
