The difference is the friend being followed b/c he’s got a reputation, black ppl are getting followed b/c there is a presumption based on race/appearance. So, yes, that is racism.

As far as the first paragraph, I have never encountered anything like that. Not saying you haven’t, but I am certain that is an outlier.

You know, as I look to ease restrictions and allow for a more open discussion, it’s clear that anything even minuscule political evolves into personal attacks and arguments. I get it. It’s the “community board,” and we also post articles about it on wdwinfo.com. DISboards is filled with passionate members in every subject, but please, let’s be respectful to each other. I am working with the Moderators and Webmasters to revise our guidelines. I’m reading, watching, and trying not to be heavy-handed, but work with me.

And just like that, this thread is closed. I might start working on a (private) place here for everyone to debate (again?) openly about their political Disney viewpoints.
