I already have my Ultimate Park Tickets on the way via the Cheapestattractiontickets web site.

Out of interest, I popped into my local Disney Store at Covent Garden London to enquire about ticket prices.

I was told that all Disney Stores in the UK have had their ticket allocation pulled until Disney knows what to do next :confused3

What's all this about then? :confused3

Somebody else mentioned on another post that someone they knew worked for a consultancy company who were handling the sale of all the disney stores in the uk so I guess that the person you spoke to is unsure about whether that particular store will stay open or whether the stores are going to be just merchandise only with no 'real' connection to WDW

The Disney Store in America is no longer owned by Disney :( and it looks like the European ones may go the same way too :(

I am hoping otherwise but it's probably wishful thinking. However I must admit I thought you could still buy park tickets at TDS in America even though it's owned by someone else now. I may be wrong!

Disney stores in the US aren't owned by Disney?

I didn't even know you could get the attraction tickets from the ones over here!

No, not any more. They are now owned by "The Children's Place" which is a children's clothing store I believe.

Same here. I'm in the old Shell Mex building on the Strand. PITA commute though :(

Okay I work for the Disney store here in the UK

The disney stores havent been sold and remain in the hands of disney!!
there are rumours that they will be sold, but if true wont be untill middle of next year.

The reason no tickets are being sold, is disney stores dont make any money selling them, so at present staff arent being trained to sell the tickets, as this would cost lots of money to implement without any profit back(if that makes sense!!).

Hope that puts you all out of your misery LOL
