I've been doing the same calc! Except I think 12% may be on the high side. Raise has been averaging 6%, and last fall it was around 4%. Not sure how long the 7%+ will last
My question now is, where do I get no expiration tickets from Disney? I'm considering getting those to use along with APs for the next few years.
No matter what the Raise discount, the total discount isn't quite as high as the OP calculates. It's close, but not exact.
Seven (six, four) percent off is a net cost of $93 ($94, $96) per hundred dollars spent. The five percent RedCard discount comes off that net amount, not the original hundred - so $4.65 ($4.70, $4.80) additional discount, not $5.00.
To get No Expiration, either order online from UCT or other reseller offering the option, or purchase at a ticket booth at WDW.
