Adult 3 day park hopper with water park & more ticket: reg 2795 now2430

Check out their site for details - offers are good until May 18.

I think I hav eabout 200 airmiles. LOL How do you all rack up over 2000? Air miles CCs?

I know! :cool1: I was checking my AirMiles yesterday and saw they were offering a 3 day basic ticket for 1,625 AM's. I don't remember them offering that before, and at a discount. We were saving up for a 7 day but when you compare the cost between the 2, it was worth saving the extra 545 AM needed for the $17 difference it'll cost me to upgrade to a 7 day. :woohoo:

It takes us awhile too but we've been earning alot with our BMO AM's bank plan, our BMO credit line and BMO Mastercard (charge everything and pay it off at end of month). That and the bonus AM's at A&P (when I can actually USE what they're offering! lol) LCBO, and Rona (major renovations this past year). :woohoo:

Whoopppeee!!!!!:cool1: :cool1: Off to the airmiles site I go!!!!

too bad the 5 day were not on sale! How often do they sale the WDW tickets? I don't need them til Dec but i don't have enough point to get the family ones, but i probably will by end of summer

Will it only cost you $17 dollars to upgrade to 7 day ticket at Disney World? Can I get these tickets now and use them in 2010?

I usually check the Airmiles site once a week and the last time a 5 day was on sale was back in the fall of 2006. Needless to say they don't put them on 'sale' very often. Although if the 3 day is on sale right now, perhaps they will follow it with the 5 and 7 day. I'd keep checking each week.

Like I mentioned in a previous post, you could buy the 3 day at the discounted price this week (ends May 18th) then upgrade it to a 5 day when you get to the parks for around $13 a ticket. Check out the ticket prices here: http://www.mousesavers.com/wdwticketprices.html The savings on the Airmiles alone is worth it. :dance3:

Yep. According to the prices quoted here: http://www.mousesavers.com/wdwticketprices.html the difference between a 5 day and 7 day is a wopping $17.

From my understanding any UNUSED Magic Your Way tickets NEVER EXPIRE so if you were to buy them now you could still use them in 2010. The only difference being if you wanted to UPGRADE them, you'd only be given the purchase price for eg. 7 day basic is $233.24 this year, so that's all you'd be credited for in 2010 even if the price has gone up.

Are the tickets on this offer Non-expired ones or the ones that expire 14 days after use?

Right now, Airmiles is offering its 3 day Basic Expires in 14 days after use (1,625) AND 3 day All Inclusive No expiration (2,430) tickets at a reduced price until May 18/08.

Check it out at www.airmiles.ca and click on Rewards, then "Family Attractions" then "Amusement Parks - U.S." :surfweb:

They do have the 3 day non expiry, with WPM and park hopper tickets on sale but i have no idea what the extra money would cost to upgrade that ticket.

Again, by reading the posts, i would have to use the ticket first day before upgrading to add the extra days right?

:teacher: Nope, you don't. I think someone mentioned on another thread that because they thought that Disney tickets from Airmiles were discounted, if you used a day, that would somehow wipe that info off Disney's radar....but they are NOT discounted and you will get the FULL VALUE of whatever ticket you are upgrading.

I have found in the past that the airmiles tickets are discounted and using them one day before upgrading them ensures that you get gate value for your ticket and not the discounted value. This has been my experience upgrading from airmiles base tickets to AP's on 4 different occasions with the last one being this past January. HTH

Thanks, i will stay on the safe side and upgrade them after using the first time ;)

I've never had a problem. :confused3 When we were there last year, I asked what the value of our tickets were worth, they quoted the same price as if I bought them at the resort, there was no mention that they were 'discounted' or "oh you got these from Air Miles".....so mine weren't discounted.

I got mine last January Discounted. Got an adults all inclusive ticket for kids ticket cost. Saved almost 500 airmiles. Upgraded that to an Annual Pass for $35!

This year I don't have to purchase tickets:banana:  . AP is good until Dec 20th this year! We leave Nov 28th and come back Dec 29th. Lots of days to use AP!

I really think it all depends on which CM you get. Some know how to do the upgrade and some don't. As long as the price that you are quoted is the one you are expecting then go for it. If it seems like you are not getting full credit for your airmiles pass, then move on to another CM. It pays to know your prices whether you are grocery shopping or upgrading passes.

Shouldn't all the CM's be consistent when upgrading? Doesn't make any sense to me then. I guess I'll have to do my homework before arriving at the resort to know that I'm getting my money's worth. :sad2:

the cm's actually have to do a two step process to upgrade a ticket. they have to "upgrade" the discounted ticket to a gate price ticket and then the gate price ticket to the ticket that you want ( like an AP) If they don't so the first step, then the price will be higher than you expect
