Disney Ticket Question

My brother has just purchased his disney tickets online form the disney website. I told him to state that he gets there on the 25th July we arrive in orlando on the 24th but I know we won't want to go to the parks that day. He is to pick up his tickets at the parks when we get there. Is this correct? I thought they would send them in the post.

Sounds about right. Did he get given a reference number?

I guess you will need to get to the Ticket and Transportation centre to pick them up.
Last time I went, our travel agent got our passes in advance, and we were told to miss out the ticket center and go straight to a park.

The tickets will start from the first day you use them, so they don't have specific dates printed on them. Its all very electronic.

He probably could have asked for delivery but full rate is $10(come CM's charge less and some say they can't post abroad)
Personally I don't see point in posting half way round the world (and paying) when you are passing a window to collect.
We always collect tickets at DTD on our 1st evening but they can be picked up from any guest services.
As said tickets don't start until you activate them.

Thanks replying I was just worried as my mum got hers from the store and they gave her the tickets there but my friend also ordered them at the weekend and have to pick them up from Disney. I was just worried my brother had made a mistake when ordering them, I made him print out his reference number to take with him!
