Hi everyone,

I have a ton of pictures from a trip to WDW last year and our DCL cruise on the Wonder this year that I want to start scrapping.

I'd like to use a 12X12 post bound album with a Disney theme on the cover. I've seen a really cute one on mousememories.com, but I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere else that I could see other designs.

Or if anyone had any suggestions on how to cover a plain album with disney themed fabric myself?

Thanks
Happy Scrapping!

I really like the Mickey Album from Mouse Memories!

I also bought a "cover" from my LSS. I am going to use it as a pattern and make my own covers for all my albums.

I plan on either using Disney fabric, or embroidering Disney designs with my ignored embroidery machines.

I do believe I saw Disney albums in the picture frame department of Michaels. These weren't meant for scrapbooking, but just for pictures. They said acid free. It is another possibility...for those who use binder style.

I will post my dimensions, if I ever get to it!

Hopefully by February, since I am planning a cover for my MIL for her birthday gift.

Thanks!

What type of cover did you purchase? Is it one of those all weather protection covers?

Thanks :)

Yes, Dana...it was one of those protective ones, but I think it will make a good pattern, and it was on clearance. I think it was a crop n style.

I have been thinking about it for awhile, but could never remember how to make them. For me, it was easier to buy the bright pink one to have to look at. I can always give it as a gift...my MIL would love it (lol).

The only Disney one I own is the Tinkerbell one, which I purchased at 2 R's in Disney Marketplace. I can't tell you how good it is though, because I haven't used it yet...Hopefully this month I can get back to scrappin'...been so busy! :)

There used to be a kit you could buy (probably at Michael's) to create your own album using your own fabric-- that wouls be perfect for you. Does anyone know if that kit is still available? Also, if you can't find the fabric you want, you could print a favorite photo or design onto sheets of printer fabric.
