Disney Studios To Downtown Disney

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, so mods feel free to move it if necessary.

What is the best way to get from the Disney Studios to Downtown Disney around 2:00 pm. Thanks in Advance.

There is no direct Disney transportation between the theme parks at Downtown Disney (because there was too much abuse in the past), so you'll have to either take a taxi, or do a "connection". You could take the bus from D-MGM to, say, Caribbean Beach Resort, and then take a bus from there to Downtown Disney.

We usually just grab a cab--about $10 plus tip.

Another option is to take a bus from MGM to SSR and walk, bus, or boat over to DTD.

That's a pretty long walk, especially to the West side!

Similar to SSR, you can bus to Port Orleans and boat to DtD.

Just be aware that under extreme circumstances, the boats to DTD has been restricted, providing priority to resort guests of specific resorts over others. It happens very infrequently but it does happen.
