I'm sure this is probably old news, but, if you see something on the US Disney Store site that can only be shipped within the US and you know you'll be visiting one of the Disney resorts soon have it shipped to the resort. I've done it on my last two trips with DVD's not available in the UK and a D23 book they wouldn't ship to the UK, plus you pay US shipping or even free if they have a free shipping offer on. Of course you have to think about the weight when you are bringing it back in your luggage, but, most stuff isn't that heavy anyway. Just put the resort address in the shipping form and they have it ready for you when you check in, it'll be on the system. Brilliant! If you aren't staying at WDW check with your hotel as they may be happy to hold parcels too.

I believe many people do that; a lot of people order from Amazon and other US online stores and have the stuff shipped to the resort too.

It is probably worth a reminder about tax and import duty if you bring back souvenirs into the country over your allowance though ;)

when we stayed at pop century in August we had 16 packages delivered to us at the resort.

The year before that, i only ordered 12 packages :)

i order every time we visit, usually from the following stores:
-- Amazon.com
-- Disney Store online
-- Lands End
-- Overboard.com (waterproof gear).

i think that's it. I had multiple packages from Amazon and Lands End.

when i checked in, they brought out all the stuff - an entire cart full of packages!!! fun!!

That sounds like me this last trip, people were looking at the stuff brought out for me, American guests aren't used to this.

i love my typo - 'cart fool' - something freudian in that!!

yes, people were staring at everything that was brought out....actually on a cart....lots of the boxes were really big (filled with clothes for DH and DS - both wear very tall clothes)

and of course, we were soooooooo excited to see all the packages!!!!

i keep a list so that i know that they all have arrived!
