Disney store gift cards at SAM's Club question $10 bonus

The Disney Store $1oo gift cards are about $98.87 The sign says $10 credit with the purchase.....

so can one purchase the cards, have an extra $12 ish dollars on each hundred, and use them to pay for tickets, onsite room, reservations? The trip, at the park, food?

Or only for the Disney Store Web site or stores?


If a trip was $2,000, purchase enough cards to pay it off??

Save about $222, just paying for the tickets for a family would be a savings.

The package has 2 cards inside, one for 100.00 good at all disney things, the second one is a 10.00 card good only at the disney store or disneystore.com. The 10 can not be used anywhere else. I bought 24 of the cards to pay my trip off, it takes a little time to redeem them, you have to call and give the card # and amount for each one.

I wonder if you can use the $10 Disneystore gift card from Sam's Club to buy gift cards online? That would be the way of getting around this and you would be able to use the gift cards that you bought online anywhere in Disneyworld. (Hope that makes sense) Has anyone tried this?

If that could be done, it would take a bit of time, but the bonus well worth it. At the Disney store online has anyone purchased Tickets for the World, that the bonus $10 could go toward that? I know I once bought tickets at our local store yearrrrrsssss ago.They are gone now.

I think I read a Disney store maybe at the outlets in Hershey, PA?

It will be awhile before we could get the kids back, but keeping the mind busy planning makes me have happy memories, and the kids excited.

The 24 $10 cards, were you able to buy the Worls tickets with them?

Along with the Disney Store I see they can be used for Photo pass, cruise, expidition, too.

I sent an email to disneystore.com asking what locations at WDW Resorts can I redeem this gift card. So can we use the Sam's club bonus $10 card to buy the gift cards at the Brick & Mortar Disney Store? I'm hoping I can use those $10 to purchase grocery & snacks at the resort stores.

I did not get any store names from Disneystore.com. I called my local Disney store and they sell WDW tickets. I have to find them at Sam's.

Yesterday, I found the gift cards at Sams and read the restrictions on the back of the package. Big bummer!!!

I work for the mouse and can confirm that the $10 bonus card CANNOT be used at Disney. We received a memo on this as many guests are trying to use the cards.

To Clarify, I am going on a trip in January. I can use the $100 cards when I get there to pay for my room at POP and my ticket upgrade from a Disneyland Ann. Pass to a Premier Annual Pass. Correct?

Gonna have to head to Sams Club tomorrow!

Yes, the $100 Disney gift cards can be used to put towards your resort balance and other food, purchases, etc.

I wondered the same thing, but unfortunately, the $10 Disney Store gift cards cannot be used toward the purchase of Theme Park tickets. Sorry. I was bummed too.

I still think it's an awesme deal! We bought 25 and used them on our most recent vacation. We were going to spend that money anyway and I got a bonus $250 to spend at the Disney Store. The only problem is they're nearly impossible to use online. I don't think they let you enter more than one or two. Also, they shut down the store's system when we used a few at the store. They said to ask to have them hand entered, not swiped next time to avoid the problem. It took a long time to resolve the shut down. I've read that happening to others too.

I am going in tomorrow to get 15 of them to pay off our Alaska cruise...now I am wondering...I want to use the $10 Disney Store cards to get a new Dooney purse, will I be able to call in and use all 15 cards towards the purchase or does Disney limit the number of cards? THANKS!
