Disney Store Discount?

I'm off to the DS to exchange some stuff. Do we still receive our discount there?? I thought I read somewhere that we don't since the sale. Thanks!

Still receiving the discount at the flint Mi, Disney store. I did ask if the discount would continue and the cm didn't seem to think it would continue.susan

You guys are lucky you're getting the discount!! The DVC member website says we don't get it any more but I guess someone forgot to pass the memo along.

As of Monday when I worked we still had not gotten a memo saying that we no longer took the discount so unless something came in since Monday, you should still get your discount.

I worked this morning, and we still had not received anything saying to stop the discount.

My computer is being tempermental tonight and I can't seem to copy the notice on the DVC member site. Basically, it says that due to the sale of the stores in the U.S. we no longer will receive the discount. However, we do still get the 10% discount....in Europe. (Good news for some folks on these boards.)

So, if your store is still giving the discount, use it now! (I think I got it to work!)

The Disney Stores in North America have been purchased by The Children's Place and are no longer able to honor the 10% discount for Disney Vacation Club Members. (If you live in Europe or are traveling there soon, you will still receive your discount at Disney Stores in Europe.)

The website says it's discontinues but the stores are still honoring it. Until the employees get notification from up above, they will still give DVC members the discount.
