Disney Store Costumes

Anybody remember when Disney store normally put up the costumes on sale? I know I remember thinking it was early....but I can't remember how early. I don't want to order them and have them go on sale next week!

I was wondering this too. My DD has outgrown most of her current costumes and I wanted to buy 3 or 4 for our upcoming trip!

From what I remember last year it was mis-September when we got DS's costume at 50% off.

I actually worked at my Disney Store tonight!

It is only the princess costumes that are $10 off, not all costumes. I'm not 100% sure why they did it that way, but there must be a reason.

I just didn't want people from the Dis to go to their local store and think that all costumes are on sale and then be disappointed when they are not.

In the past when I actually had a Disney Store in my mall the Store Manager would had told me it depends on how they are selling. If they are selling really well, they won't put them on sale or vice versa. Not sure how accurate that is now.

That could be true but it would have to take place on the company level versus store by store. All sales and promotions are dictated by homebase, not by individual stores.

I will tell you that at my store, I was shocked at how few costumes we had backstage last night. Even though it's quite a few weeks until Halloween, it's hard to say what we will get replenished.
