disney store broker fees to canada...but what about hot topic?

... does Hot Topic do this as well? As they have a broker warning, but I know other from CA who order and seem to get by without the fees/seem to think it's okay? I'm asking because I'd like to order my disney merch there and am hoping to avoid the usual (ghastly!) broker fees from good ol' shop disney. Thanks so much to anyone who knows!

I’ve ordered from Hot Topic and there has not been fees like Disney.

I just order the Jungle cruise funko from Shop Disney

had to pay there international shipping fee and then I also had to pay UPS fee once it crossed the border.

if I knew about all these extra charges I would not ordered it

I cant wait till I can use my US address and get things ship there for free and then drive down and pick it up (from my house I can do a round trip there and back in about 40 mins)

UPS is the worst for brokerage fees. Too bad Disney uses them and not Fed X who doesn’t slam you with those fees.
