Disney Stockholder discounts?

My FIL just reminded me when I was giving details of our upcoming DISNEY trip that the kids are stockholders. Does anyone know if they are entitled to any discounts at the resort or even at the Disney store?

No discounts or benefits of any sort.

I don't believe there are any, although it would be nice if there were.

There used to be a stockholder benefit program, but it was discontinued several years ago. I bought one share for that very purpose - now it's split and I have three!!! Love getting my .78 dividend checks!!!!

Thanks for the quick replies...I should have figured it was discontinued since I didn't see any mention of it anywhere. I think they got that stock for that reason also.

I just called for a Passholder's rate on a MOD and was shot down because my 14yr old DD is actually the adult passholder. They claim (I paid ADULT price since they consider her age an adult-go figure) she has to be 18 to get the discount. Hmmm Kinda lame since they are classifying her as an adult to get the higher ticket price but yet no discount.

Those days are long gone. Stockholders used to get membership in the Magic Kingdom Club which brought with it various discounts. MKC was discontinued when they rolled out the first Disney credit card and later the current Disney VISA replaced that. The discounts dwindled and then vanished totally.
