We're still pretty new to WDW. We've only been twice and stayed at Pop, Contemporary, and Dolphin.
We're going down for a 3 day weekend in December to see the Christmas stuff, so I'm looking at the Disney Springs Hotels. I've narrowed it down to these three based on pricing and they're within $20 of each other for the total stay including resort fees.
Just two adults traveling. Not concerned about bed size, room upgrades, fridge/microwave/etc. This is really just a place to sleep as we want to maximize park/touring time. Breakfast would be either granola bars we packed or pastries in the parks. No car on this trip so no worry about parking fees.
Also, would it be worth it to Uber in the mornings for $10 to get to the parks by opening? Are these buses busy in the mornings since they're shared?
