I;m a little unsure of what benefits are available at Disney Springs hotels at this point...I know they had some thru 2020, but what about now? (things are pretty different even onsite) Thinking about a possible stay at one, but how do you go about getting park entry times etc if not onsite? thank you

Do you mean park entry time like for early entry? That's not happening right now I don't think it's an issue. We are staying at the Doubletree because we like it it but we are wondering if we will get ADRs at 60 days + like they do onsite or not. I'm not sure and have not been able to confirm anywhere.

I guess I'm worried about the new rules for booking park time..... will a DS hotel put us last in line behind onsite?

We are looking at Doubletree instead of SSR to save 600.00. However, I have read that the rooms are dated. What are your thoughts on this? Also, how is the walk from Doubletree to DS? Thank you!

Can't comment on the Doubletree rooms, but the resort is the farthest from Disney Springs. About 3/4 of a mile to the closest part of it. Disney Springs is also quite long, so probably about a 1.5 mile walk from the farthest part.

Rideshare is always an option.

One benefit if you are trying to save money is that there is a McDonald's and other restaurants across the street from the Doubletree in the Crossroads Shopping Center.

We are staying at another DS hotel and were able to book ADRs at 60 days out, but not 60 days + length of stay. So I had to get up every morning to book ADRs on the 60th day out from that day of the trip.

Thanks for the info. UGH on not being able to book 60+. I am not looking forward to waking up early every day. I'm nervous about not getting the things we need!

Our last visit was summer of 2018 and I didn't find the rooms to be dated. We all thought they were fine though it has been almost 3 years. The whole family liked the doubletree enough that we want to stay there again. Would my kids rather stay onsite? Probably. But dang the prices are just so good for a suite.

I just asked my family and none of them can recall walking to Disney Springs though I swear we did. We really liked that there is a McDonald's right across 535 so we could just zip in and get our morning diet cokes and iced coffees on the way to the park. There are also a number of restaurants there too. My kids love Noodles & Co. so we ate way too many meals there.

I read that they are closing that shopping center this August! We went with SSR. We didn't go to Disney this year because of Covid so we have saved our pennies. Thank you for the feedback, though!

My family has stayed at multiple DS resorts and we have enjoyed the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress and Hilton LBV Palace the most. Hyatt was our favorite for the amenities, but we did use rideshare/shuttle to DS. Hilton (Palace) is our favorite for the hottest heated pool (lol) and the walking distance to DS.

No!!!! Why would they close it? It's so convenient!!!!! We have also been saving! We were supposed to go this past August but had to cancel. :(
