Short notice trip but taking my 90 year old mother to Disney for he birthday.
She has hearing issues and we will be meeting my sister's family at Disney Springs for Dinner with my Mom.

Looking for the quietest restaurant for 9 in the Disney Springs area since we are staying on property at POR and they are off-property. I currently have reservations at Rainforest Café but am really second guessing that decision.

Lol, well, Rainforest Cafe is definitely not the quietest. It's pretty seriously loud. Thunder, monkeys, elephants. VERY loud. Quieter than T-Rex, but still VERY loud. Raglan Road is amazing, but also very loud. I haven't tried the new Morimoto Asia yet, but maybe it is quieter? Of the ones we have tried, which is all of them, I think except Morimoto, Portobello was by far the quietest. It never seems to be crowded or loud.

I would definitely avoid Rainforest Cafe, TRex and Raglan Road. Morimoto is quieter, but the menu was hit or miss, IMHO. I would choose the Boathouse. The food is great and it was quiet when we went. Fulton's and the Dining Room at Wolfgang Puck's would probably be quiet choices as well.

Agree that T-Rex, Rainforest and Raglan are likely the loudest. Boathouse, Morimoto, Portobello or Fulton's might be good options. Take a look at the menus and maybe even see if you can call them directly to find out if they have more private areas they can seat your group. Enjoy!!!

I'd choose the Boathouse. Rainforest, Trex, and Raglan are REALLY loud. Bongo's, inside, is quite loud, outside is better unless there is a band.

As others have mentioned, Rainforest, T-rex and Raglan Road are quite loud. The other restaurants others mentioned are all good options, albeit more expensive than Rainforest, but do you have to eat at Disney Springs? There are some great resort restaurants that are much quieter and you can all meet there. Grand Floridian Cafe or The Wave might be good options.

I agree that Fulton's is a good option! It's always been a nice quiet dining experience and even picky eaters can find something they like.

Nothing keeping us at Disney springs just more convenient to get my family from POR to there vs. another resort. Like all the ideas!

Surprised that no one has a noise level chart on all the Disney Restaurants!!! (hint, hint) to all Disney fanatics.

Chiming in with a vote for Fulton's. It was lovely and quiet when we ate there and the food was delicious! Looking forward to going there again on our upcoming trip.

If you are at POR take boat to Saratoga Springs and dine at the Turf Club - excellent food and service. View menu online.
