Disney Spring Resort bus to Parks, or walk to DS and take Disney bus?

For those that have stayed at one of the DS Resorts that offer Park transportation...are we better off using the DS Resort bus to/from the Parks, or would it be quicker to just walk to DS to use the Disney buses?

Disney Springs does not have buses to or from the Parks

DS buses don't go directly to parks. They also don't start running until DS is open, so later than park opening. We stayed at Best Western and Hilton Lake Buena Vista in the before times (so not recently) and the shuttle was good then. Returning on the DS bus can be faster and more convenient

The Disney Springs buses only go to Disney Resort Hotels

Not since the parks reopened in 2020.

No, they are no longer offering those after 4pm buses to Disney Springs from the parks.

Right. Sorry for not clarifying. It's easy to get to resorts from 3/4 parks to bus to DS. Which can be faster and more convenient since they run more often than the DS shuttle at certain times of day.
MK- walk to Contemporary
Epcot- walk from IG to Beach Club
HS- walk to Boardwalk

When visiting DS from MK, we've also taken the bus to POFQ or POR and then used the boat

If a bus went from DS directly to a Disney park, then people trying to 'game' the parking fee would fill up the DS parking areas and there wouldn't be any space for those who actually go there to shop.

AND hundreds of thousands of dollars a day in lost sales at DS. Boy I remember circling those surface lots at Downtown Disney before they built the garages! And sometimes giving up the idea of shopping there - I'm sure we weren't the only ones.
