Disney special offers?

Hi there
I hope this is on the right board. We are planning our disney trip for may 29-june 8 but as of right now the special offer for stay play and dine ends April 12. Has Disney had special offers in the past on the dates we would like to go ect?
Also if we book now and a special offer comes up can that be added on?

i had that question and asked via disney's website chat and the cm told me that i could add on a promotion if one was to become available. however once they did add free dining for my dates, it was excluding my resort choice of AoA's Little Mermaid rooms.

Hi... I am so glad you asked this question because I was wanting to know the same thing I am trying to plan a trip for my family of 4 at the end of May as well. Right now the price is so high I am not sure I can swing it without some type of discount. In the past we always went in September or October and was able to get Free Dining. I would REALLY LOVE to get free dining but I am sure they will not offer that during this time frame. If anyone knows anything about discounts, please let me know. THANK YOU!!!

Also, go to the Resorts forum here on the Disboards, and click on the Codes and Rates sub-forum. Look for a "Code Watch" thread for your month, and subscribe to it. When something comes out, someone will post on that thread and then you'll know about it!

I've already joined the June 2014 watch thread in case we decide to go. A good special would help me feel better about the decision!

Oh, and I have also been able to add a discount to an already booked package. I added free dining once. But if you don't get a confirmation email within several hours, check back. I had to call three times to get it added. The first CM told me it couldn't be done. I knew it could. The second CM said sure and did something, but apparently didn't finish and I didn't really have free dining yet. I didn't get an email so called a third time and they could see something had been done but not finished. After that call, I had an email within minutes.

Moral of the story, be persistent.

I thought S/P/D ended on March 5? I was hoping for it to run through April. Is there another way to book where it does?

Here is a link to the WDW special offers page. The SPD plan does end on March 5th. I think there was a pin code that some people received and that included the extended discount dates for SPD. But it wasn't offered to the general public.

We went during this timeframe in 2012 and, yes, there were special offers available (I don't remember if there was anything dining-related, but I got a room discount that I was able to apply after I had made my original reservation). I'm currently planning our early June 2014 trip and hoping history repeats itself!

I read that Canadians were offered it through 4/12/13.
