I am taking my family to WDW for my R&R the first week of March. We are celebrating the fact I am home, it is my wife's birthday week, my son will be graduating from high school, and it's our 25th wedding anniversary.

I am trying to decide what special dinner reservation or what could make the disney dining experience even more memorable. Before I went to Bosnia my wife was able to get us a table on the porch at the pub in EPCOT and we watched the fireworks while eating. My kids had more fun watching me watching fireworks that night than watching the fireworks themselves.

Any suggestions? To past the time while I am away I am making a detailed plan. I am creating a powerpoint presentation. I getting maps, time schedules for transportation, park hours, strategies on maximizing fast pass use, dinner menus, dinner reservations. I going to plan it out to the last detail, but of course when we always get there we throw it out and fly by the seat of pants. Thinking of Disney keeps a smile on my face.

Any good ideas would be great.

Wow... that's a lot to celebrate -congratulations!! Not sure what the budget would be -but my choice would be California Grill and catch the Fireworks from the lookout. Try to make reservations before or after they start, either way your waiter will be able to time your dinner to allow you to watch the show if you are there during the show. Or maybe a fireworks cruise(?). Have you done the Segway Tour in EPCOT -that would be a great time. I'm sure some others will have different suggestions.

I second the Segway Tour in EPCOT. We've done it twice and it's SO COOL:cool1:We're doing the MK Fireworks Dessert party as a new way to view that wonderful show. TRex in DTD was a very awesome restaurant too. Would you like character interaction? Cinderella's Royal Table at the castle should be done at least once and I'm sure the princesses would be so proud your family stopped byprincess: Choices, Choices:lmao:

There's also the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage (so much fun!). And, if everyone is over 16, you could try the Keys to the Kingdom tour at MK.
