Disney shows on TLC this morning

Lol they just bleeped out a guy talking about the skyline bar on a cruise ship. I was like wait what did Disney swear?? It would be nice if they updated these more often though. I saw clips of the working yeti, trees all down main street, and the sorcerers hat.

The sorcerer's hat just came down last month, so a clip showing it isn't necessarily dated.

It's not been working since we started going in 2011 so Im not sure when it stopped working but they've still not fixed it and its been at least 4 years. Also it's funny how proud the guy is of it on there. They're so proud I guess its not worth fixing.

We went in June 2012. DH and DS rode EE for the first time, and the Yeti was working. We didn't even realize how big a deal that was. It must have only been working for a few weeks or something, at least according to some other things I have read on the boards. DS wouldn't ride EE again until this trip, because he was afraid of the Yeti popping out. I kept telling him that it wouldn't pop out, but he didn't believe me. Alas, I was right, and it didn't pop out last month.

Yeah I saw the remnants while they were taking it down, but it is kind of funny that they featured it on the show with clips of the building process and funny comments about hat sizes...cut to a year later (show release date is 2014) aaaaand actually we're demolishing it. Nothing to see here folks...lol

Anymore, I feel like a member of a special club to have ridden EE when the yeti worked!
