Disney Ships' Horn as a Doorbell

Does anyone know or has anyone heard of getting the Disney ships' horn as a doorbell for their home? I thought I read a thread on that sometime ago.

If you have heard of it could you let me know where to find it? I would love to have that installed in our new home. I absolutely hate the one that is there now. It goes "Ding" but doesn't "Dong". It's so crazy.

any decent wonk could record the horn (available online....check the threads) and the its a matter of hooking the chip to a driver and VIOLA!...

I was going for the obvious joke about no troubles with my ding but....

I have the ship horn as my cell phone ring tone. DH got me a CD for Christmas so that you can make your own ring tone from any source, so we found the horn on line and he took the software and made it my ring tone! It's AWESOME!! It you are interested, I'll get you the name of the software.

You guys are so funny !! Thanks for the suggestions. I just wish you all could hear that doorbell at the new house. And I would love to see the look on my friends faces when they hear the Disney Horn.

i've got it ready to be my calendar alerts next week when we head down but i'm not happy with it the way it is.

i'm looking for a clean copy of the sound - no laughing, no talking, no one saying "wait for it wait for it here it comes" lol

I have the Disney ship horn for my home door bell. I bought the door bell in Home Depot. You can play a regular ring or record something. I recorded the ships horn and it is great. Whenever someone rings the bell I dream of being back on the ship. Sometime I just ring it myself. It took the dog a little while to get used to.
