Disney Share Certficate question

I have a couple of Disney Share certificates and was wondering if they have any value other than the current share price? They are the ones with Walt and all the characters on it( I think I bought them in the 1990's). Thanks Canadian Tom

Those are such beautiful stock certificates! We bought a share or two for our daughter in the 1990s just for the certificate. I have no idea if they’re worth anything extra, so I’ll be watching this thread in case someone does know.

First Disney had two stock splits in the 1990's. In May of 1992, it was a 1/4 split and in July 1998, it was a 1/3 split
So, you may own more shares than you think you have.

Second, until 2019, Disney paid a dividend twice a year. The dividend will resume in 2024
You should contact Disney Company's Transfer Agent, Computershare Investor Services(link below)
There may be some hoops that you have to jump through to get the funds, but the simple answer is to contact them and find out.
