Disney $$s within the UK?

Hi there

I haven't posted for ages but I have been 'popping in' from time to time non the less!

A friend in the US asked me this question and I am not sure of the answer so I thought I would ask you knowledgable folks!

Is it possible to buy or spend Disney Dollars in UK
Disney stores? Can't say I have ever tried to do either so couldn't answer her, although my feeling was that the answer was probably no.

Can anyone help me/her out?

No you can't buy Disney Dollars in any UK Disney Store. I really don't think you can spend them either.

I seem to remember this subject coming before some time ago.


The answer is NO because the £ / $ exchange rate would have to be calculated on a daily basis - too complicated for small volumes of trade.
